Welcome to celebrate Resilient Threads!
Updated: 8 hours ago

After a year filled with stories and collaborations across borders, we want to celebrate with you. We invite you to an afternoon where we will talk about how to create meetings between Roma and non-Roma young people, how to work with storytelling, international collaborations and the digitization of intangible cultural heritage.
Here's what you can look forward to:
An exciting insight into our interactive book that collects stories, images and videos from the year
Digitized stories & podcast series that elevate Roma voices from across Europe
Methodological material and handbook developed for young leaders and educators in the subject
Coffee, mingling and plenty of time for conversations and new meetings
We also invite discussions and questions about how you work with Erasmus+ projects and what this trip entails.
The event is aimed at anyone who is curious about Roma culture, storytelling, youth participation or Erasmus+.
Date: October 16, 2026 Time: 1:00 PM–2:30 PM
Location: Hallunda Folkets Hus , Borgvägen 1, 145 68 Norsborg

In addition to supporting freelancers in developing and realizing their own projects, Smart also runs a number of collaborative projects. Resilient Threads is one of them. The projects we take part in and lead share a common goal: to develop the creative and cultural field in Sweden and internationally, to contribute to the professionalization and internationalization of the cultural sector, and to promote freedom of expression.
